Beautiful Emerald Green Sarees Sari Fabric LONG gold and Silver Embroidery

I know NOTHING about sarees, this fabric has been on my possession for over twenty years. Beautiful emerald green with metallic embroidery, this seems to be a sari a woman would wear because of the places the embroidery is and where it is not (I know there’s some folding and pleating so that area is not embroidered?) Inner edge is not finished (pictured) but other edge is finished for the train. Found a few spots as pictured but otherwise lovely condition. Could be silk IDK. Found it at an estate sale and never used the fabric, so it’s intact and ready to wear. Gorgeous fabric and A LOT of it!
