Sombrero is dusty/dirty. Some damage/wear on strings/embroidery- a few strings have come off. Crushed velour fabric- strong shape- hard and firm- there are areas where there are small gaps in fabric- most likely from manufacturing. Head opening is 7 1/2” long and 6 1/2” wide- not sure about actual hat size- please measure your head for fit. Please see pics

Deep aqua blue velvet is highlighted with dazzling white and encrusted with sparkling gold embellishments in this massive ( 20x 23″) mariachi- themed sombrero. In excellent preowned condition, the Mexican-made, 7X hat retains its original crisp form. I find no stains, tears, rubs, missing trim, or other condition issues. In fact, it appears never to have been worn. Hat measures 19” across and is 21” long. Inside measurements are 7 3/4 x 6 1/2″. Vintage Authentic Pigalle XXXXX Black Gold Sequin Mexican Sombrero Mariachi Hat. The widest parts of the brim measure about 19″ x 17.” The black material has a velvety feel, whereas some of the yellow/gold pieces are yarn and ribbon and the other yellow/gold pieces are made of a rope-like material. The sequins beaded to the ends of the yarn are multicolored. This is in very good condition, though there are a few minor flaws. There are a few small marks on the black velvet and some of the yarn/ribbon is slightly frayed in areas. Also some minor marks on the interior band that sits on the head. Please review all photos carefully, as I did my best to show all of the flaws in the photos.

XXXXX Pigalle Sombrero made in Mexico Gorgeous deep blue velvet with white and silver accents. Decorated with horseshoes, silver cord and sequins. Strap of silver cord. Light soiling in the head hole (it probably has a better name than that). General light soiling. I spent some time brushing the lint off the velvet, it will surely need some touch up for perfection.
