This is a traditional Thai skirt. The garment features a shimmering rose pink and gold brocade design woven with intricate geometric damask patterns, characteristic of classical Southeast Asian formalwear. The waistband is 34”. The hip area is 42”. There is no stretch to the fabric. This skirt was purchased in Thailand for a wedding I was attending. It fit then but doesn’t anymore. It’s been hanging in my closet. I wore a gold sleeveless top that I will gladly include with this purchase. It could be paired with gold toned shimmery fabric blouses to really show the gold stitching. Black, grey, or white colors would also work. It’s a very formal attire and would be great for date night.
