Brian’s professional journey spans across the hospitality industry, where he spent 25 years managing hotels in Scotland, including as a hotel owner and general manager. His dedication to service and leadership also led him to roles in further education, including five years as Assistant Principal at West Lothian College. Alongside his career, Brian’s love for Scotland’s rich history inspired him to write books, such as Scotland’s Immortal Guardian, which blends his deep knowledge of the past with a forward thinking exploration of Scotland’s future. His transition from hospitality to history showcases a life devoted to both people and place.
